The First Career Tech Scholarship program helps make those opportunities possible by providing financial support and encouragement to students entering technical and vocational fields that are essential to our community's future.

Bluebonnet Ford: New Braunfels Food Bank - Volunteering + Donating

At Bluebonnet Ford, giving back to the community is more than a tradition — it’s part of who we are. Our team believes that being a part of the New Braunfels community means showing up not only for our customers, but for our neighbors as well. That’s why volunteering with the New Braunfels Food Bank continues to be one of the most meaningful ways we give back throughout the year.

In just one volunteer day, our teams helped pack and distribute over 800 pounds of produce for members of our community. From sorting fruits and vegetables to preparing bags for distribution, every employee jumped in ready to work with one goal in mind — helping nourish families across New Braunfels.

What makes these volunteer days so special is the heart behind them. At Bluebonnet Ford, community involvement is not something reserved for management or a select few employees. Our entire team is highly involved, and there is a genuine passion among our staff to make a positive difference wherever we can.

The work done by the New Braunfels Food Bank is truly inspiring. Every day, they provide critical support to families, children, and seniors throughout our area who may be struggling with food insecurity. Being able to contribute our time and effort to an organization that directly impacts so many lives is something we are deeply grateful for. It reminds us that even small acts of service can create a ripple effect throughout an entire community.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: a stronger community starts with people willing to serve it. We are proud to call New Braunfels home, and we are committed to continuing our support of the organizations that help our city thrive. Feeding families, supporting local causes, and investing in the well-being of our neighbors will always be important to us because this community has supported us for generations.

Bluebonnet Ford: Comal County Youth - Volunteering + Sponsoring

At Bluebonnet Ford, we are proud to support the Comal County Junior Livestock Show and the incredible students involved in FFA and 4-H programs throughout Comal County. Being recognized as a Top 10 Buyer is truly an honor, and we're grateful for the opportunity to invest in the future of agriculture and the next generation of hardworking young leaders in our community.

The mission of the Comal County Jr. Livestock Show Association is one we deeply believe in – promoting an agricultural way of life while giving local youth the opportunity to showcase and sell the livestock projects, they've worked tirelessly to raise. Through these experiences, students gain valuable life skills including responsibility, financial management, leadership, discipline, and a strong sense of commitment to their families and community.

These students dedicate countless hours to caring for their animals, preparing for competition, and learning lessons that will stay with them far beyond the show ring. Supporting these programs means supporting the future of Comal County, and we're proud to stand behind the youth who represent the heart of our agricultural community.

Bluebonnet Ford: Ford Community Heroes

At Bluebonnet Ford, we are honored to be part of the Ford Community Hero program, presented in partnership with Ford Motor Company, which recognizes individuals who make a lasting difference in their communities across New Braunfels and beyond.

This ongoing program celebrates local leaders who consistently go above and beyond to serve others – people whose impact is not measured in moments, but in years of dedication, influence, and service.

One of our recognized Community Heroes is Gary Seals. Gary has played a meaningful role in supporting local youth by helping create opportunities that didn't previously exist for middle and high school students. His efforts helped bring the New Braunfels Youth Collaborative to life, providing a space where students can grow, feel supported, and prepare for their futures. His continued commitment reflects a deep investment in strengthening the next generation and building a stronger community foundation.

We are also proud to recognize New Braunfels High School educator Ashley Riggs as a Ford Community Hero. Mrs. Riggs has demonstrated consistent leadership and dedication in the classroom, shaping the lives of her students through her passion for education. Her influence extends far beyond academics – she helps inspire confidence, resilience, and purpose in the young people she teaches, leaving a lasting impact on the community.

The Ford Community Hero program exists to highlight individuals whose everyday actions create long-term positive change. Whether through education, youth development, leadership, or community service, these honorees represent the heart of what it means to build a stronger future for New Braunfels.
